Annette, 25 October 202111 February 2024

The list of benefits of cold water swimming are endless. Cold water swimming helps improve your immune system, it reduces inflammation and joint pain making it good for arthritis sufferers.

The mental health benefits are huge. Immersing yourself in cold water enables your body to deal with stress much better as it puts your body under micro stresses. Learning how to deal with these stresses helps you deal with every day stresses much more easily and this in turn can help to reduce day to day anxieties. Cold water swimming can reduce the onset of early Alzheimer’s….it really is a magic tonic.

If you would like to find our more, please get in touch. Whether you wear a wetsuit or a swimsuit, gloves, hats or socks, we can talk through all the different kit and options. I will cover the “do’s and the don’ts” and the after drop (which happens after you’ve finished swimming). Cold water inductions are a must to enable you to swim safely through the winter months; You will be educated and raring to go to embrace your winter swims.
